Welcoming 2026 • Celebrating KAOC’s 50th Year
Dear KAOC Family,
Namaskaram, and Happy New Year!
As I step into 2026 as the President of the Kerala Association of Colorado (KAOC), I am truly honored and grateful for the opportunity to serve our community during this very special milestone year.
What started 50 years ago as a small gathering has grown into a strong and close-knit community of 330+ families, including many non-Malayali families who have joined us over the years with trust, warmth, and a genuine sense of belonging.
As we step into this milestone year, my hope is that we celebrate it in a meaningful and memorable way—honoring the past, celebrating where we are today, and inspiring what lies ahead for the next generation.
What to look forward to in 2026:
- Enhanced cultural & sports events with new activities and fresh ideas, while continuing the traditions we all love.
- Kids-focused events including a Kids Sports Meet centered on fun, interaction, participation, and community-driven fundraising.
- YUVA Committee (new!) to involve kids and teens through volunteering, event support, and leadership development. More details and a sign-up link will be shared soon.
My team and I are truly happy to be on board and look forward to working closely with all of you. We are planning to kick off the year with our first event in January, and we are excited about what the year ahead holds.
